It Doesn’t Pay To Be Nice
It doesn’t pay to be nice,
You give your heart; you give your soul,
But in return they step on your toes.
It doesn’t pay to be kind,
You give your smile; you give your love.
But in return they walk all over you.
It doesn’t pay to look out for others,
It’s better to look out for yourself
cause no one looks out for you.
It doesn’t pay to give in to others,
It’s better to take from others
cause no one appreciates you.
It doesn’t pay to be generous,
They take from you, they never stop,
They’ll swallow you.
It doesn’t pay to be gentle,
They snatch from you, they never end,
They’ll murder you.
It doesn’t pay to be nice,
It doesn’t pay to be kind,
It doesn’t pay to look out for others,
It doesn’t pay to give in to others,
It doesn’t pay to be generous,
It doesn’t pay to be gentle.
It only pays when you are the cashier.
